Job Summary: A well-established and rapidly growing immigration law firm is seeking an experienced
Immigration Litigation Attorney to join its Chicago office. This position focuses on
EOIR representation and removal defense , providing the opportunity to advocate for clients in complex immigration matters while making a meaningful impact on individuals and families.

Job Responsibilities: - Represent clients before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) in detained and non-detained proceedings.
- Handle all phases of removal defense, including master calendar hearings, bond hearings, individual hearings, and appeals.
- Prepare and argue motions, briefs, and other legal filings.
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
- Prepare clients and witnesses for immigration court hearings and interviews.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed throughout the legal process.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff to ensure exceptional case preparation.
- Stay current on changes in immigration laws, EOIR procedures, and legal precedents.
Qualifications: - Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in any U.S. state (Illinois preferred).
- Experience handling EOIR cases and removal defense is required.
- Strong litigation, legal writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.
- Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills.
- Spanish fluency is strongly preferred.
- Passion for immigration law and serving diverse communities.
